The topical treatment come in a powder solution and mixed with liquid before use. After mixing, the solution can be used for a period of 8 weeks.

Apply the medicine cutaneously. Follow your dermatologist’s advice on exactly how often and where to apply the Zineryt lotion. Always consult your doctor if you are unsure how to use it.

Wash the affected area before you apply the lotion. Should you want to apply make-up, apply the medication first and allow it to air dry. The lotion comes in special packaging with a designated applicator pad that you can use when applying it on the skin.

To use the medication, unscrew open the cap, tilt the bottle upside down, place the pad on the affected area, and spread the lotion on the area of the skin with acne. Apply the lotion twice daily on the desired area for about twelve consecutive weeks. Ask your doctor if you still have acne after 12 weeks of application.

The Zineryt lotion comes in 40 mg powder with 12 liquid solution consisting of 40 mg Erythromycin and 12 mg per ml of Zinc Acetate Dihydrate.

Just like any other medications, Zineryt lotion can cause some side effects, even though not all people get them. The most common side effects are redness, itching, skin dryness, and irritation.

Avoid using the lotion if you have any allergies to Zinc and Erythromycin and other ingredients found in the lotion. If you have an allergy to antibiotics from the macrolide group, avoid using the medication too.

Talk to your physician or pharmacist before applying the lotion if you have resistance to antibiotics of the macrolide group including Lincomycin and Clindamycin. Avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose, as well as eyes. If this occurs, rinse immediately the affected area with lukewarm water.

Should you be breastfeeding, pregnant, or may be pregnant or planning to conceive, ask your physician for advice prior to applying the solution.
