Mometasone Furoate / Plopatadine

Ryaltris Nasal Spray contains two active substances, mometasone furoate and olopatadine. Mometasone furoate is a steroid medication that helps to combat inflammation and olopatadine is an antihistamine medication that prevents the effects of histamine, a substance produced by the body that causes an allergic reaction.

You should only ever use your medication as you have been instructed to by your healthcare provider. Typically, adults and children over the age of 12 years old should use this medication once in the morning and once in the evening.

The correct dosage of Ryaltris Nasal Spray is whatever your healthcare provider has instructed you to use. Usually, adults and children over the age of 12 years should use two sprays in each nostril in the morning and the evening.

Ryaltris Nasal Spray is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years who suffer from the symptoms of hay fever. 

Ryaltris Nasal Spray may not be a suitable medication for some people. This medication should not be used by anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients in it. It should also not be used by children under the age of 12 years. Long-term usage in children is also discouraged as it can have an effect on growth and development.

No, you should not use Ryaltris Nasal Spray whilst pregnant. You may be told to use it if your doctor feels that the benefits outweigh the potential risks. 

If you are breastfeeding your doctor will consider whether or not the medication provides a greater benefit that your breast milk provides for your baby. You should not use this medication whilst breastfeeding.
